Affiliate Marketing Ideas That Make Money

Everyone who ventures into the world of affiliate marketing is looking for ideas that make money. What most people don’t understand is that there are no overnight miracles in this world. There are, however, long-term strategies which can and will work with enough perseverance.

As I’ve stressed many times, the key to success is quite simple: just get started.

Don’t just throw crap content up on your website and hope that it attracts readers. It won’t. The best strategy I have found is to build up an online readership that trusts your advice. Become an authority. Then they can’t possibly help but want to visit your website and try the products and services that work for you. This is why you must only recommend useful, quality products and services that you have used and can confidently promote.

This is one of many useful tips I learned following the AffiloBlueprint course.

 

Build a Blog that Makes You Money

Managing your own blog or website (where you have built up your own list of readers) is the key to making money.

Regular, weekly articles teaching readers useful and actionable information in your blog’s niche (e.g. finance, weight loss, medical, etc). When you provide your readers with useful information, they will trust you when you recommend your products.

I can’t emphasize this enough: Once readers trust you, they will trust your recommendations. You can then take advantage of this by recommending useful, quality affiliate products to them.

 

Focus on Email Marketing, Not Banners

Sure, you can make money by featuring adsense and other pay per click options on your website, but email marketing will always make more money than banner advertisements on websites.

The simply truth is this; People who do click on banners are cold traffic and rarely convert.

AffiloBlueprint teaches that instead of using banners, you should use opt-in forms to an email subscriber list.

Give people an incentive to join (a free ebook book or course, for example), then send out emails with helpful information and relevant product suggestions. This pre-warms your traffic, increasing conversions.

 

Organic Traffic With Google

Organic Google traffic is high quality and converts very well.

For ranking better on search engines like Google try the following:

-Post regularly: Google loves websites with new, fresh content and ranks their posts/pages better.

-Optimize your post for a keyword that is shown as having a good number of searches (100+) in Google Keyword Planner.

-Place your keyword(s) once in title tag, once in description tag.
